日前便當門事件中，作家九把刀誇豪語，如證實此事屬實，該便當店確實存在，他就送出700份待用便當給弱勢族群。雖然他賭贏了，為了讓便當文事件有個圓滿結局，他仍大方送出700份待用便當，為了避免讓弱勢族群不好意思來領，他決定給所有人。

九把刀已與中和某快餐店談妥此事，並考量老闆烹煮速度，從24日開始連續14天（逢公休日則順延），中午與下午各發25份滷肉便當，並改以號碼牌方式發送，且原訂一天送一百份，但考量烹煮速度，改為一天50份，連續14天。24日中午第一次發送25份待用便當，尚未開始時店外即有排隊人潮。在開始發放號碼牌一小時後，九把刀在臉書稱25份便當已發送完畢，晚間會再發送一次。

九把刀同時在臉書上稱自己隔兩天就會來此用餐，更推薦滷肉以外的料理，以期加快供餐速度。九把刀曾自嘲自己格局小，又智障，但他認為自己覺得對的事就該去實踐，而送出待用便當，只是一種實踐方式。
