北京中友百貨放棄14年台資商標，16日將改名「漢光百貨」。中友百貨台資團隊在2001年撤出，由前董座王漢光接手，仍沿用台灣商標。但隨著商標授權即將到期，公司決定不再續用，轉型打造本土品牌新形象。

業界認為，中友百貨試圖透過更名轉型，跳出同質化競爭。

中友百貨表示，新品牌將打造本土百貨品牌形象，更加注重「全客層」概念，從下半年起，漢光百貨將擴大對男士、兒童等業務，並重新進行整體規劃，將賣場翻新，擴大顧客休息區域，提升購物體驗。新版漢光會員卡在本周日正式推出，30萬名會員都會收到邀請卡。

台灣商業專家、上海通略零售業顧問公司董事長沈建國說，中友百貨在台灣屬於區域性的中小型百貨公司，在大陸只在北京開出過門市，品牌價值不算太大。百貨業在未來五年都會是動盪階段，連鎖百貨效益都在衰退，漢光百貨作為單體店面，資源相對缺乏，挑戰巨大。

業內人士分析，在西單大悅城建立後，中友、君太兩家百貨店一直試圖突破同質化競爭，改變靠折扣為生的運營模式。
