滿載偷渡客船隻沉没　13死數十傷

澳洲有一艘載滿偷渡客的船隻沉沒，造成至少13人死亡，數十人失蹤。

當局表示，邊境巡邏飛機，當地時間周三(5日)在聖誕島(Christmas Island)附近，發現一艘載運偷渡客的船隻，當時約有55人在甲板上，大部份是成年男性，也有婦孺。當局原打算於隔天派船艦攔截，但發現偷渡船失去蹤影，經搜索後才確認這艘偷渡船隻已沉沒。當局隨即展開救援，至今已打撈起13具屍體，其他人失蹤。澳洲當局並未透露死傷者國籍。

由於海上情況良好，搜救人員相信仍有生還者，相信部份生還者可能漂到印尼海岸線附近。印尼海事處也對事件表示關注。
