監控洩密案消息來源 放棄優渥生活

（法新社華盛頓9日電） 29歲的美國政府承包商員工史諾登承認揭發政府大規模監控計畫，並為此犧牲了在夏威夷舒適的生活、職涯、女友和親朋好友。

根據「衛報」（The Guardian）網站影片，史諾登（Edward Snowden）3週前打包行李前往香港，拋下在夏威夷年薪20萬美元的優渥生活、女友、穩定工作和摯愛的家人。

史諾登說：「我願意犧牲這一切，因為我無法昧著良心允許美國政府侵犯全球人民的隱私、網路自由和基本自由。」

史諾登加入艾茲柏格（Daniel Ellsberg）和曼寧（Bradley Manning）行列，成為美國史上最新1位觸犯國安重大問題者。艾茲柏格曾洩露五角大廈文件，曼寧將外交電報和戰爭日誌洩露給維基解密（WikiLeaks）。
