《國際產業》強勢澳元不利競爭，福特要關澳洲廠

【時報-記者柯婉琇綜合外電報導】美國福特汽車宣布，受銷售下滑、業務成本走高與澳元升值影響，公司將在2016年10月全面關閉澳洲工廠，將導致1,200人失業。

此前，美國通用汽車澳洲分公司在上個月宣布，澳元走強使澳洲生產的汽車缺乏價格競爭力，因此將裁員500人，相當於當地員工人數的18%。
